We got a puppy! Sammy has been begging me for the last few years for a puppy, but it was never a good time or we didn’t have enough space. But with the new job and bigger apartment, it finally seemed more possible. So I’ve been watching the pound for them to get a puppy for two reasons. 1. We thought getting a puppy, he could learn to get along with the cats and 2. It was very important to me that we adopt an animal from a pound or rescue. I did not want to go through a breeder with so many puppies already in need of a good home. So, I finally saw a puppy come up on the website and we decided to go meet him. We fell in love immediately and decided to bring him home. His name is Illidan Barkrage! He’s a chihuahua beagle mix (very loud).
He’ll be starting puppy classes soon and we are working on house breaking him. Once he is house broken and well trained, I will even be able to bring him to work on some days. I’m actually kind of excited about that too. He will get a little alliance dog tag and everything. More updates to come!
